Teach your children how to pray with Scripture the way the Church has done for centuries.

Lectio divina is an ancient practice rooted in the early Church. The purpose is to pray with Scripture, allowing the Lord to speak to us through His Word. This is the method employed by saints throughout the history of the Church! 

We made this lectio divina journal for kids ages 8-18. Each spread walks the child through the four movements of lectio divina:

• Lectio (Reading)
• Meditatio (Meditation)
• Oratio (Prayer)
• Contemplatio (Contemplation)

With intentional, repetitive prompting questions, the child will build the habit of prayerful reflection on the Word of God.

We provide 40 carefully-selected Scripture passages for them that engage the imagination and lend themselves well to this prayer. Then, we leave them 20 blank pages for them to select their own Scripture passage with which to pray! 

The journal is meant for boys and girls. It has a dark navy, vegan leather cover, thick interior pages that stand up to pens and highlighters, and a satin gold ribbon for place holding.
