My kids (ages 9, 11 and 12) are using this every day! They used to complain that they didn’t know what to do during personal prayer time but this provides the perfect structure for them! I definitely recommend to any parent who wants to help facilitate independent prayer time for their kids.

The "a lamp & a light" lectio divina journal is perfect for our PSR families to be able to practically pray together and study the Word of God at home, in the Domestic Church. We hope and pray it will inspire families to find new ways to live the Faith each day, not just on Sundays.

I gave a copy of these to a group of high school seniors on retreat last weekend – we taught them Lectio Divina, so wanted them to have something to take home & hopefully make it a habit. I haven't heard from any of them yet, but had one of last year's retreatants ask why they didn't get one! I love that this resource exists and plan to continue giving them to anyone I can over the next few years.

This Scripture Journal is wonderful and is not only for Kids! It’s for ANYONE of ALL ages that wants to do daily Bible read journaling. Simple and clean and great digest-size book for travel.

This is beautiful and so well thought-out. I think every person in my household would benefit from one of these. I showed it to our friend Fr. Sean (who does not readily hand out his stamp of approval on materials haha!) and he loved it and immediately commented this would be just as good for adults to use as well.

This journal is amazing! It arrived beautifully packaged with a personalized card. The journal is perfect for reflection and hope it will be an insightful aid to my granddaughters after their confirmation. I looked in many catalogues and in a few stores and could find nothing as well put together as those journals. Thank you so much for creating this.

This lectio divina journal is a great resource, not just for kids, but for adults too. My husband and I recently learned more about lectio divina at our parish Bible study. Since I am new at this type of prayer, I wanted a journal to help guide me. This one is perfect in that it has the Bible reading (lectio) and then questions and suggestions for meditatio, oratio, and contemplatio. Other journals I saw were just basically blank lines with no guide. I really like this one and would recommend it to anyone of any age.

Thank you, Into the Deep, for designing such a thoughtful, beautiful, and well made prayer journal. I have been looking for a guided way to introduce my 9 year-old daughter to personal prayer with the Scriptures, and this has been the perfect resource. I came downstairs the other morning and found her sitting at the kitchen table, deep in prayer, thinking and praying with her journal and her favorite Bible. What a gift it is that she is learning Lectio Divina at this age! Thank you for working with the Holy Spirit to make this possible! It also came beautifully packaged, which added to the joy and anticipation of opening a new way to encounter the Lord. My girls 10 and 12 just started using it. As a Catholic homeschooling family I am glad that we can now set aside the regular just positive journals and have one that has a motive, intention, and a purpose. It’s a great resource to help them read the word of God and look at it in a deeper way. I love that it gives them an opportunity to also pray and write it to later go back and remember that moment. As a mother I love knowing that they are taking in so much richness through Gods word and filling their hearts and minds with so much goodness that I know the Lord will deposit in their hearts hoping that at the same time they are creating habits that will stay with them through life.
